We have been learning how to use a hook sentence to get our readers interested in our story. We have learned to use a sound or dialog. 

 

Maui

 Today we learned about Maui and Mahu-ika and how it came about that we have fire.

Ash Wednesday

 Today we celebrated Ash Wednesday. We made posters to decorate our class. We shared what we are giving up for Lent.
