Pinqi's playing sport
My Favourite sport April 30th 2020
This afternoon, has a beautiful weather, I chose to play Badminton as my outdoor sport. I played it with my father in the garden. Our highest record is 34 rounds. Although we are very tired, we feel very happy. What a wonderful sport!
PS: When I was 3 years old, I was playing Batminton for the first time, from then on I liked it because it will make me confident and stronger.
Santio - My front tuck on a trampoline

One sunny morning me and my sister, went on our trampoline and I saw her doing a front tuck. I asked her can you teach me how to do a front tuck?She said, "Okay I'll try." So we went inside the house and we watched some videos on how to do a front tuck. Then we went back to the trampoline and tried the flip.Then our mum called us in the house and asked us what we would want to work on the trampoline. I said, "I want to learn a front tuck."My mum said that our coach was asking how our flips were going and she wants a video of us. Mum took a video of me first and for the first time I landed my flip. I FELT GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday me and my sister went down to our river to explore. We saw lots and lots of crabs and
we saw our friends on the bridge. After a bit me and my sister found 6 eels. Some were babies and
some were grown-ups. After a little bit I found a paua shell and a pipe. The pipe was a very old one
and it had an oyster on it. My sister thought it was a Stethoscope. The paua was like a pretty rainbow
high up in the sky and it had loads of sea creatures on it. Then I found this thing. It was almost like
jelly! We put it with the eels because we thought it was an eel but it was actually something that you
find on the beach and it's called a salp. We had to let all of the creatures go. I was sad when I had to
let the salp go. Normally they are clear but my salp had sucked in a lot of mud so it didn’t look the
same.There were loads and loads of little holes in the mud when we were trying to look for the crabs
on the first day we were doing it. My sister and my dad got their gumboots stuck in the mud. I stayed
safe on this little rock but the rock was sinking so we had to get out fast! The eels Squiggle like little
plants in the wind. It was gross and they're so sensitive. I got the biggest crab of all. It was huge!

In the morning we made paper cranes. They remind us of peace. I was learning about peace in prayer time. I enjoyed making a paper crane because they reminded us about peace. I found it difficult because there was lots of folding. Next time I would change it because it was hard and lots of folding.

Pinqi's outing
Going for a walk with my family April 29th 2020
This morning, I completed the online course, and then
I saw the weather it's very clear Very beautiful !
so I suggested to my mother ,”Mum,the weather is so nice!
let’s go for a walk. Is it ok?” My mother happily agreed and
she took me and my little Brother for a walk around the
neighborhood. It took about 15 minutes.

Volcano Report from Room 4
Report on Volcanoes
Did you know volcanoes are one of my favourite things?
An eruption happens when the magma from the earth's core rises up through a weakness in the earth's crust.
There are lots of parts in a volcano. These things are like magma layers of the Earth's crust, layers of lava and ash, eruption clouds, crater, lava flowing down the side of the volcano, and the central vent.
Some volcanoes are active and some volcanoes are extinct.
The most active volcano in New Zealand is White Island. Me and my family saw it when it was streaming up.
Did you know Lake Taupo was one of the biggest eruptions in the world? It was humongous and it happened 2000 years ago.
Volcanoes are really cool!
I especially love the obsidian that is made when they erupt.
